As a Payroll Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role, responsible for efficiently and accurately processing payroll, maintaining compliance and implementing continuous improvement initiatives in line with payroll strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
A day in the life of your role as a Payroll Officer will incorporate:
Accurate extension and entry of timesheets.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll for branch network.
Run invoices for branch networks.
Maintain accurate database and record keeping.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory bodies, reporting as required.
Assist in end of period reconciliations, ensuring accurate financial records.
Maintain administration of superannuation.
Attend to payroll queries and issues, providing accurate and timely resolutions.

Ability to work well under pressure & to set deadlines.
Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in payroll.
Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, award interpretation, and compliance.
Experience learning and using payroll software.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Proven attention to detail.
