You’ll manage a small portfolio of clients and play a key role in providing leave coverage and short‑term workforce support across multiple sites, ensuring continuity, compliance, and client confidence always.

About the Role

As an Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day‑to‑day coordination and support of your client base, acting as a trusted on‑site partner and ensuring operational requirements are met seamlessly. This role is based in our Mackay office.

Client & Site Engagement

• Providing account coverage and support across multiple client sites
• Building strong relationships through regular site engagement
• Attending site visits when covering or supporting accounts
• Managing day‑to‑day client issues and escalations with confidence and professionalism

Workforce & Mobilisation Support

• Coordinating leave and short‑term coverage across sites
• Tracking headcount, starters and leavers
• Conducting compliance and onboarding checks
• Supporting mobilisation to ensure continuity of coverage

Reporting & Administration

• Maintaining ownership of key trackers and reports
• Ensuring data remains accurate, current, and compliant
• Assisting with onboarding handovers when stepping into new sites or accounts
• Supporting overflow administrative tasks during peak periods to assist senior Account Managers

What You’ll Bring

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer‑first mindset
• Excellent time management and the ability to manage competing priorities
• A proactive, self‑motivated approach with a focus on KPIs and outcomes
• Confidence in learning new systems and processes
• Previous experience in account management, recruitment, or labour hire (highly regarded)
